Freeipods.com is a relatively new company that started it all by giving away nearly half a million ipods. Because of the very quick success of freeipods the company behind it has opened a large amount of sites with free products. They have already given away over 4 million dollars worth of products. Also competing companies have popped up. Because the idea behind getting free expensive products works, all of these sites are legit. They are absolutely real companies that deliver. You join a free trial and quit, they get paid. Depending on how many hundred dollars it costs, you get 3-10 friends to do the same and wait for the box in the mail. This has been reported on in both Wired news and CNN Headline News. They are even listed at the Better Business Bureau website.
The reason they can give these products away truly for free is that they make money for each free offer. Some people dont finish everything by getting enough referrals. This is pure profit that helps pay for everyones products. Some people get too many signups by accident, again extra profit for the companies. I signed up for a free aol for broadband trial which I canceled, cost me nothing. I didnt even need to use a credit card, I could have used the numbers from a check. Because there are so many sites now (13 good ones) you can get a product from each one of these if you like with the same friends. I would use a free email account like yahoo or hotmail. Some of these sites send spam, and although you can unsubscribe, yahoo and hotmail filter it out automaticly.
